Everything people actually ask us — how melts work, how long they last, and what happens if something turns up broken.
How do I use a wax melt?
Snap one cube off the clamshell and put it in the dish of an electric or tea-light warmer. It melts, the scent fills the room, and there’s no flame, wick or smoke involved. Start with one cube — our throw is strong, and you can always add a second.
How long does one cube last?
Usually around 8–12 hours of warming, depending on your warmer and the size of the room. When the scent fades, let the wax cool, pop the disc out and drop in a fresh cube. A 2.5 oz clamshell holds six.
What’s in them?
A soy wax blend and premium fragrance oils. Every melt is 2.5 oz / 70 g in a six-cavity clamshell, hand poured in small batches in the USA.
Are they safe around pets and kids?
There’s no open flame, which is a real advantage over candles. That said, the wax and the warmer both get hot, and the melts are not edible — keep them out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a warmer running unattended.
How strong is the scent?
Strong. That’s rather the point. If you’re scenting a small room or you’re sensitive to fragrance, start with a single cube and give it fifteen minutes before deciding whether to add more.
How do I pick a scent?
Start with the line rather than the individual name. Seven lines split the range by mood — juicy fruit, dirty-sweet gourmand, tropical, clean, floral, dark and moody, or our designer-inspired range. Every product page lists the top, heart and base notes.
When will my order ship?
Most orders leave us within 2–4 business days. Shipping is free on orders over $45. Full detail is on our shipping page.
Can I return a melt?
Unopened products in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Because fragrance is personal and melts are a consumable, opened clamshells can’t be resold and aren’t returnable unless they arrived damaged or incorrect — in which case tell us and we’ll sort it. My melt arrived broken. Now what?
Message us with your order number and a photo within 14 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund it. Cubes occasionally crack in transit in hot weather — that’s cosmetic and doesn’t affect how they melt, but if it’s worse than that we’ll make it right.
